Persequimur allecibus rubrum in cavernis leporis

You are clearly one of us! You are inquisitive! You either clicked on a link because it was there or you read Latin.

Our motto is "Persequimur allecibus rubrum in cavernis leporis" not because we are smart, we got some one else to translate it, but we have a sense of fun. The motto is "Chasing Red Herrings down Rabbit holes!"

Yes, we mixed metaphors. However if you have ever done any history research you will understand. Every reference you find leads to two others and after several layers of tangential leads you realise you have the wrong "John Smith" at layer one! Then you wonder if the "wrong" John Smith is far more interesting than the once you should be researching...

That or you have the right John Smith who is a member, for a year, of a particular group and them spend the next month researching the group to discover he didn't actually join them but now you want spend your time researching the group rather than John Smith.

Does any of this sound familiar? This applies to researching a topic for an book, magazine article or even worse when you are making a documentary video as you want to re-shoot it all differently.

So, what are you waiting for? Join us! We have two levels of membership both at £10 per year. See membership page
